First of all hypnotherapy IS approved by the AMA (American Medical Association). Second, being able to be hypnotized has NOTHING to do with rolling your eyes back in your head. Third, the hypnotherapist has NO control over you. is a relaxed state and you have complete control of everything. You will hear everything and will never do anything that will harm you in any way because your subconscious mind always protects you. There are so many misconceptions out there about because of hollywood and hypnotists. A hypnotist uses hypnosis for entertainment and a hypnotherapist uses hypnosis to help you in some way become a better person.
